Man it's been a while. Looks like Big Bad really is back. I don't know about everyone else, but I think the beat is actually on point. Much like a rise from the grave (considering everyone thought you were gone for good). Stay on top Lej. Welcome back!

Lejin responds:

Like Batman rises? hmm...

Pirates of the Caribbean inspired?

You are right, this song doesn't waste time in moving along. Though, it sounds more like its made for a short adventure for a newly doned warrior--not for an epic tale such as the Iliad. It has just the right amount of energy however.

TheBellmaker responds:

Thanks for the review!

Got keep moving. Gotta keep the swagga

I honestly have to say I am really digging this beat! Just the right amount of movement and action. I honestly wish I could say more! The end was a nice drop off too. Classic r&b. --I really like that short Insert of the trumpet ever once and a while. Great job, I wanna here more of your stuff :D

Crueltool responds:

Thanks man. Ready to split on it some word...

This feels a bit soft for Heavy Metal.

Although as a whole I think its an okay piece that I'd like to see what you do with in the future, I feel its a bit too soft. In the beginning the cymbals aren't sharp enough, if you know what I meant? Also in the end, around 1:05, the guitar gets waaaayyyy ttooo soft. It's almost like a fader came on, but didn't finish? Really wanna see what you can do with this later!

FourteenSouth responds:

The fade towards the end had something to do with the mastering plug-ins I was using. I didn't notice it until I uploaded it to NG. But, it's just a rough track so I'm not terribly worried about it for the time being. It's nice to have someone on here who actually gives REAL constructive criticism, by the way.

The upbeat tune totally reminds me of a sugar rush

The beginning fade, I am not a huge fan of, but I did thoroughly enjoy the rest of the song. The zooming in and out seems to come and go just a bit too fast, perhaps? Though, I can see what you might have been trying to do. NO sugar rush starts off immediately, it always builds up and then you are GONE! Followed by the crash at the end--nothing worse than a sugar crash.

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

I'm glad I got the sugar part right;3

Thanks for the review^^

I'm thinking about editing the intro.

All I can say is...

Damn! When you were talking about it, I knew it would be good, but this is the shit. I like the beat and you got the flow as usual! :P

<<BANG>> KO!!!!

Jump Right In

The beginning is a little jumbled and is a quick jump right into the song. No really sure if I like that, but the rest of the song is alright. Also I think the snare/drum overshadows some undertones. You might wanna watch out for that. Nice beat non the less. ^ . ^

InGenius responds:

Yeah, the midtones are tuned out for a little more clairty of any vocals laid in on the track, so the drums are at the forefront. The original track had melody arpeggios throughout, but that would overkill the vocals during the main theme, not a kosher thing in Hip-Hop. And this isn't the final layout, the intro section won't jump right into the track, I'll leave an intro into a breakset into verse, then chorus, verse, chorus, break, chorus. I'm working on that as we speak, actually. Thanks for the review.

Smooth Jazz

I haven't heard a good jazz song in ages. This was definitely refershing to hear. Beautiful song. Some of the best things come at random and just sitting down and doing it. You two don't sound bad together. I wish I could play like that...Great job

-The Siea of Blu

CyriltheWolf responds:

Thank you for your response. I am glad you enjoy the jazz and appreciate the superiority of just sitting down together.

Congrats!

Congratulations on your acceptance. I know exactly how you feel. When I got accepted over a year ago....I felt like the world was on my side for once...even if just for a little while. I think that this song just sings what you feel in your heart. Nothing is better than a song played with a strong emotion. Its soothing to the ears.
